The group is led by Dr Andres García-Domínguez and started running in 2023 as part of the Organic Section of the School of Chemistry. It provides a vibrant environment with thought-provoking discussions and access to a wide array of instrumentation for reaction monitoring, including a high field NMR spectrometer. The group has a profound interest in kinetic analyses, mechanistic elucidations, rational design of chemical reagents and isotope labelling strategies. Our current research covers the areas of organofluorine and main-group chemistry.
